Acceptable Use
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These rules apply to everyone who uses Homes, and form part of our Terms of Use. They keep the platform safe for finders and agents. Breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension, or termination.
Do not
When using Homes, you must not:
- run scams or engage in fraud of any kind;
- post fraudulent, fake, or deliberately inaccurate property listings;
- impersonate another person, agent, or business, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone;
- post hateful, discriminatory, or unlawful content, or advertise properties in a discriminatory way;
- send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited promotional content;
- send abusive, obscene, or malicious messages;
- upload malware, viruses, or files that are not genuine images where images are expected;
- post other people’s personal or confidential information without permission;
- attempt to bypass, probe, or break Homes security, authentication, approval, or access controls, or access data or accounts that are not yours;
- scrape, harvest, or programmatically abuse the platform or its API;
- overload, disrupt, or interfere with the platform or other users’ use of it.
Reporting a problem
If you see a listing, message, or account that breaks these rules, please report it to complaints@homes.example. Include enough detail for us to find it (for example, what you saw and where). See our Contact page for more.
Consequences
Where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and, where appropriate, report conduct to the relevant authorities.
