Agent Terms

These terms apply to agents — users who apply to list and manage properties on Homes. They are in addition to our Terms of Use, Acceptable Use rules, and Privacy Policy. By applying to become an agent or by listing a property, you agree to them.

Application and approval

  • To list properties you must submit an agent application and be approved by Homes. Until approved, you cannot publish or manage listings.
  • You must provide accurate, truthful information in your application.
  • Approval lets you use listing features. It is not an endorsement of you, a verification of any property, or a guarantee of any transaction with a finder.
  • We may decline, pause, or revoke approval, and may suspend or remove an agent account, at our reasonable discretion — for example where these terms are breached.

Your listing responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and current information for every listing.
  • You must have the right and authority to advertise a property before listing it.
  • You must not list a property you are not authorised to advertise, or that belongs to someone else without their authorisation.
  • Photos must be genuine and accurate images of the actual property being listed — no misleading, stolen, or unrelated images.
  • You must not knowingly advertise unavailable properties (“bait” listings), and you must mark a property as rented promptly once it is no longer available.
  • You must keep each listing’s details up to date while it is published.

Conduct

  • Do not impersonate another agent, person, or business.
  • Do not post misleading prices, descriptions, locations, or property details.
  • Do not use messaging to spam, harass, or mislead finders.
  • Do not attempt to bypass Homes security, approval, or listing controls.
  • You must also follow our Acceptable Use rules in full.

Our rights

We may remove or hide listings, reject or revoke approval, and suspend or terminate agent accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe may harm finders or the platform.

Your responsibility for transactions

You are solely responsible for your dealings with finders and for any arrangement relating to a property you list. Homes is not a party to those arrangements, does not handle payments or rent, and does not guarantee any outcome. See the disclaimer in our Terms of Use.
